The RoleThe psychologist will provide professional, evidence based Psychological Services to people and also bring their own clientele.
Experience with private referrals, Better Access (GP Mental Health Treatment Plan), NDIS (beneficial).
As a Registered Psychologist, you will be provided with administrative support, including billing clients, managing bookings and waitlists, appointment confirmations, SMS reminders and room bookings.
The Registered Psychologist will contribute to high quality care to achieve best outcomes for clients and their families.
The Successful Candidate will Work with a broad range of clients.
Have experience in the administration of a range of cognitive and adaptive behaviour assessment tools and psychological strategies for children, young people and adults.
Possess the relevant tertiary qualification and hold membership to the appropriate professional body (AHPRA).
Hold full registration as a Registered Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Be eligible for a Medicare Provider Number.
Undertake clinical assessments and treatment planning for clients referred to the service using validated screening and assessment tools, e.g.
DASS or K10.
Provide progress and final reports to referring GPs on clients referred under a MHTP, to ensure best client outcomes and appropriate on-referral pathways.
