Role Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, this key role is responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive internal communications strategy to increase employee engagement and leading the creation and development of an Intranet site.
You will be responsible for:
Review existing communications, and then define, develop and deliver a comprehensive internal communications strategy that works to increase employee engagement through effective communication. This will include defining priorities, cadence, building on existing communications channels and developing new communications channels. Leading the development of a short term Intranet site to enable it to 'separate', and then develop a longer term plan for a new intranet (e.g. aggregation of files into a SharePoint environment). Ongoing Intranet management. Support the Programme Office through the separation process with expert advice and communications support on high-priority employee facing projects. Develop and deliver a leadership communication plan for the CEO. Develop and deliver business-wide communications, through a variety of channels, including newsletters, video, intranet content and events, ensuring all content is engaging, timely, technically accurate, and delivers consistent key messages relevant to intended stakeholders. Production of internal newsletters. Assisting the marketing team with external communications and media activities as required. Qualifications You will have:
Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in communications/marketing or related discipline. Experience in developing copy, materials and messages across different mediums and audiences. Ability to lead the creation of a simple (and longer term) intranet site. Strong project management, communications and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience with SharePoint (intranet), Canva, Viva Connections. Experience building and managing intranets. Ability to develop communications plans and strategies to support business objectives. Previous experience in a Communications Management role. Experience in Intranet management (and ability to lead developers as needed). Change management communications experience and exposure working in healthcare will be highly regarded.
