About Your Role: Manufacturing Buyer
As an Manufacturing Buyer, you'll support the Industrial Centre of Competence (ICC) by ensuring contractual commitments and customer satisfaction are met. You’ll play a crucial role in optimizing the procurement process to enhance service delivery and contribute to Thales' financial performance. This is a full-time permanent role based in Rydalmere.
Key Responsibilities:
10. Serve as the primary contact between Thales and suppliers at the production site.
11. Manage the entire purchasing process, including creating, issuing, and tracking orders.
12. Apply Thales' purchasing strategy using ERP systems and related tools.
13. Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, resolving any issues that arise.
14. Handle supplier quotations, evaluate offers, and place orders as needed.
15. Proactively manage shortages, delays, and non-conformances.
16. Promote continuous improvement and support the LEAN transformation approach.
Your Skills:
17. Strong relationship management with internal teams and suppliers.
18. Proficient in commercial contracts, ERP purchasing tools, and office applications.
19. Effective order management and problem-solving skills.
20. Excellent communication and soft skills, with a proactive and ethical approach.
21. Adaptable and honest
22. Curious and eager to learn
