Owns daily production support and escalates issues as needed. As a leader in the supply chain planning center of expertise, the role will work with the user community across the end-to-end supply chain planning to support ongoing business, but also to build, test, deploy solutions. The business outcome is improvements in the end-to-end digital supply chain planning through higher system utilization and more competent users. RESPONSIBILITIES Supports the development, implementation, and delivery of the technology roadmap to support supply chain planning across the P&HS business including training of end users. Partners with the user community to define the digital supply chain requirements to develop the technology roadmap. Understands the technology, business processes, and opportunities in the context of the technical and business requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve goals. Responsible to document and validate requirements for changes to business processes, revising existing system logic difficulties as necessary, policies and information systems as well as ensuring testing requirements are met and documenting business requirements. Works with users to improve compliance to Systems Governance guidelines, runs all data integrity reports and drives higher metrics to make sure that the planning organizations act upon exceptions, errors, fixes and more. Assists in the design and development of the SC Planning systems training program. Leads the trainings for all planning systems with different levels of expertise (Introduction, beginners, intermediate, advance) and helps current and new users to reach the optimum level of knowledge depending on their role. Deliver the trainings, in combination with the planning leaders (demand, supply and inventory). Works to resolve user concerns and records improvement requests from the planning organizations, under a clear governance process to prioritize and look for alternatives to resolve the need. Aids in the evolution of applications, systems, and/or processes to a desired future state by maintaining an understanding of how current processes impact business operations; mapping current state against future state processes; identifying value gaps and opportunities for process enhancements or efficiencies; defining the impact of requirements on upstream and downstream solution components; providing recommendations to management on how to integrate requirements with current systems and business processes. Generates regular reports to business partners on the progress of projects, and the overall health of the technology stack. Follows sustainable process improvement by diagnosing complex business problems and providing recommended plans to deliver process improvements through the implementation of Lean Six Sigma Principles. Performs additional duties as directed. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree required, concentration in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Operations Research, IT, or related field preferred 7 or more years of Supply Chain, Inventory, or Information Technology experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment 5 or more years of diversified Supply Chain or IT leadership, planning, communication, organization, and people management experience. Systems development, Pharmaceutical/Healthcare business applications, and project management experience required Or any combination of education and experience to meet the above requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with multiple audiences (senior management, corporate/distribution center teammates, etc.) Project management experience in facilitating the definition of business requirements and designing and implementing solutions, including processes and managing change Ability to work effectively with third party vendors Ability to identify emerging technology opportunities and successfully apply them to critical business problems Demonstrated analytical skills with strong statistical awareness along with the ability to make and act on decisions with limited information Ability to manage cross-functional teams across multiple technology related disciplines Ability to develop processes including requirements gathering and analysis design, selection of tools and technologies, release and version control, testing methodologies and deployment management Demonstrated negotiation, persuasion, and conflict management skills; proven ability to serve as champion for multiple projects simultaneously Ability to identify opportunities that lead to operational improvements and/or savings Self-starter, ability to work independently and in a team setting involving multiple departments, partners, and business processes ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Inside working conditions.
