Salary - Clerk Grade 9/10 - $120,859 to $133,183 p.a plus superannuation.
Your role
The Senior Social Media Officer is ideas-driven and enthusiastic, with an understanding of the diverse community that DCJ serves. This role assists with content creation, community management, overseeing paid advertising, and campaign reports for DCJ's social media channels.
Key to this role is to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring DCJ services are reaching a wide social media audience (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and X).
What you'll do
* Oversee managing DCJ's social media channels, including posting and moderation to create an exceptional audience experience and mitigate any potential reputational risks.
* Develop and deliver paid and organic social media content, including ideation, planning, copywriting, testing, design, and content production (short form video and imagery) to create informative and engaging content.
* Provide guidance on and oversee paid social media campaigns, always aiming to optimise budget allocation, maximise effectiveness, and ensure sound financial management.
* Analyse and report on social media performance metrics to optimise content, increase audience engagement, and provide advice to stakeholders on social media best practices.
* Monitor trends in the social media landscape to help with organic and paid social media content creation.
What we're looking for
* Demonstrated in-depth understanding of industry-leading social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and X and their use as strategic communication and engagement tools in a complex environment.
* Experience in paid social advertising using Meta Ads Manager and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
* Tertiary qualifications in digital marketing/social media/communications/media and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
