Contract Administrator Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Contract Administrator to join our team working on large-scale construction projects in Brisbane.
About the Role
This is an office-based, full-time position with an attractive salary package negotiable depending on your experience. You will work under the General Manager and Managing Director on an impressive pipeline of secured projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Effective subcontract administration and client service coordination
* Multiple task management including project leadership, team support, buildability driving, and day-to-day problem-solving
* Project performance oversight and commercial outcomes achievement
* Reviewing and providing necessary documentation for clients, including SWMS, registries, warranties & SMP
* Compiling monthly progress claims and assessing return payment schedules
* Managing sub-contract agreements, invoices, and payment schedules for Firm's subcontractors
* Administering Principal contractor agreements and managing delay, EoT, program, LDs, payment terms, retentions & Practical Completion
* Developing solutions for work delays and problems that may arise on the projects
* Reviewing project contracts, negotiating outcomes with clients, and advising MD & GM on key items
* Ensuring correct document registers are recorded in contracts
* Manage workforce planning of the Firm's projects
* Reporting key results, tender agreements, and pricing of business endeavours between the Firm's principal contractors to the Firm's GM & MD
* Liaising with the Firm's projects' principal contractors to facilitate efficient schedules of work
* Negotiating liquidated damages with the Firm's clients in line with the Firm's requirements
* Negotiating project finances at close out stage with the Firm's clients
Criteria
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* 3 – 5 years of previous experience working in Commercial Construction as a Contracts Administrator
* Experience working within a Sub Contracting company beneficial (Not Head Contractor)
* A strong understanding of construction sequences and safety protocols
* A high level of motivation, ambition, drive, and passion for leading and training teams
