About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor role is responsible to keep fixed and mobile plant and equipment running at its optimum, by providing in-house mechanical repairs, service and maintenance. Specifically, crushers, screens and other mobile earthmoving and quarrying equipment. The purpose of the role is to eliminate costly downtime and to lower our operating costs, ensuring safety compliance and fostering a positive working environment.
The Maintenance Supervisor will be site-based, with approximately half your time on the tools. You will provide effective and efficient technical advice and administrative support in planning and management of mechanical repairs, service and maintenance to achieve industry best practice. It is an imperative part of this role that this person has an excellent understanding of machinery and mechanical, hydraulic and electrical concepts and is able to think logically and methodically under pressure.

Required Skills and Attributes
* Background in Heavy Plant, Mechanical and Business processes
* Clear understanding of excellence in customer service
* Proven management skills, practices and planning ability
* Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities
* Highly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating and administering contracts
* Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
* Computer literacy, particularly experience working with Microsoft Office applications
* Highly effective planning, organising and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate and influence others.
* Ideally a Trade Certificate – Heavy Plant
* Current Drivers Licence
