Your Opportunity This role will be responsible for delivering optimal dietetic and nutritional services across MA's three aged care facilities. As a nutritionist, you will be working with the clinical team and our Head Chefs to monitor and support diet and nutritional lifestyle for our consumers to maximise their health and well-being. Key Responsibilities Provide consumer-focused dietary advice by conducting assessments and plans referred by the clinical team. Evaluate treatment according to the goal achievement in collaboration with the GP, DoCs and RNs. Monitor and report unplanned weight loss with regard to the impact of medical diagnoses and working with GPs. Consumer engagement to provide information of their dietary plans and also conduct regular reviews of consumers who are at high risk. Facilitating the development and monitoring of an appropriate and effective nutritional auditing system by conducting biannual site menus reviews in consultation with the chefs. Develop strong internal and external stakeholder partnerships and assist in case conferencing reviews. Requirements for Success Bachelor's degree or Post Graduation in Dietetics or Nutrition. Minimum 3 years of Aged Care or mental health setting experience. Demonstrated knowledge, skills and clinical experience in Nutrition and Dietetic practice and provision of services to dietetics in an inpatient setting. Proven effective negotiation and communication skills; both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders. Current Driver's Licence.
