Reporting to the Manager – People Advisory, they will support our leaders to provide a great place to work for our employees, and a great service to our customers. As a Senior Advisor, they will support leaders minimise risk and improve culture and performance to achieve desired business outcomes. Some of the day-to-day activities will include: Providing advice, support and coaching to leaders on matters including performance management, misconduct, grievances, fitness for work, behaviour and team culture. Undertaking workplace investigations of varying levels of complexity. Coaching leaders to improve their people management capability. Providing advice on the interpretation of our enterprise agreement and employment contracts. Participating in the identification, implementation and continuous improvement of employee relations initiatives, processes, policies, and procedures and ways of working. You may also have the opportunity to be involved in claims and disputes before the Fair Work Commission/Equal Opportunity Commission. Working within a collaborative, fun, supportive team environment, they'll have the opportunity to develop your skills on a variety of matters and projects. You are business focused, great at building relationships and offer strong coaching and mentoring skills. They'll have the experience and confidence to provide guidance on a range of people and employment relations matters. A hands-on role, you will be willing to get stuck in, working with the team and leaders to resolve issues effectively. Key skills and experience: Degree qualification in Human Resources Management or a related discipline. Considerable HR generalist, employee relations and/or case management experience, ideally in a medium to large multi-disciplined organisation. Case management experience essential. Experience working with a field-based blue collar workforce would be beneficial but is not essential.
