Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Security Guard to join our team of professionals in delivering exceptional service to our patients, staff, and visitors on a part-time basis, working 68 hours per fortnight across a 7-day roster.

With 22 operating theatres, we offer a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.Gold Coast Private Hospital is committed to continual growth, providing exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in healthcare.Your duties will includeDeliver all aspects of protection, safeguarding, and security of company assets, employees, patients, and visitors.Staff the security zone within the Emergency Department.Patrol the internal and external perimeters of the hospital.Carpark Duties.Assist in investigations.Control access points and prevent unauthorized entry and removal of hospital property.Prevent vandalism, loitering, and public nuisance.Provide security escorts for staff, patients, and visitors as required.Respond to notifications of fire, trespass, theft, vandalism, assault, or other threats.Respond to incidents and use negotiation and de-escalation skills.A Class 1 Security Licence consisting of Security Officer unarmed, Security officer monitoring.Certificate II in Security (Guarding) or equivalent.Previous operating experience within a Security Control Room with security systems, i.e., Electronic Access Control and CCTV System Knowledge.Ability to work a flexible roster.Track record of providing great service and customer experience.Strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills.Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.Well-developed oral and written communication.Good computer literacy & sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.Why Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our Community of Care.
