We're looking for an experienced Asset Manager to join our team and help us achieve our vision of a sustainable energy future for Western Australia.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronic Engineering or equivalent, and relevant experience in leadership positions with teams responsible for utility assets.
You will be responsible for providing asset management stewardship and leadership to optimise the performance and reliability of both traditional thermal power station assets and inverter-based renewable technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the organisation's corporate strategy and asset management objectives by leading the development and implementation of Horizon Power's Asset Management Plan.
* Strategically manage the operational and engineering support of both traditional diesel and gas reciprocating engines and balance of plant and inverter-based renewable assets.
* Lead the Generation Asset Management team by actively contributing to an engaging, caring and high performing team environment.
* Develop and maintain clear and concise operating protocols and procedures for the generation portfolio of assets.
* Manage effective relationships with internal and external service providers for the delivery of maintenance, fault and failure response and approved capital works projects and programs.
* Lead incident and failure investigations, including providing trouble shooting and diagnosis of asset and system issues.
Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
* Demonstrable relevant experience in leadership positions with teams responsible for utility assets.
* Proven track record in leadership positions with demonstrable experience leading teams responsible for utility assets.
* Sound knowledge of the regulatory requirements in WA and their impact on Asset Management.
* Ability to undertake complex investigations, prepare concise system analysis reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Proven engineering and technical skills in fault finding/trouble shooting of utility assets.
