About the role
Reporting to the Vice President, Head of Sales - ANZ, this role will lead the development and growth of Tritium’s business in the fleet market segment in the Australia and New Zealand region. The fleet market segment has a large volume of established customers that have either started, or will soon start, to install EV charging infrastructure across their sites. This role will actively pursue and secure strategic customer accounts, establishing long-term commercial partnerships to provide EV charging hardware and support services.
Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Lead in the development and execution of the sales strategy for the fleet market segment.
* Analyze and deeply understand the fleet market segment, anticipating solutions and insights to meet customer requirements.
* Identify business opportunities with prospective customers and successfully position Tritium to secure hardware and support services revenue, potentially including new markets and regions in Australia and New Zealand.
* Working jointly with the Customer Success Team and in accordance with Tritium’s account management policies and procedures, maintain continuous engagement with customers to identify opportunities for growth.
* Compile and accurately manage a pipeline of opportunities in Tritium’s selected CRM tool.
* In conjunction with Tritium’s Bids & Proposals function, proactively drive all bid activity within the fleet market segment, including negotiations and contract execution.
* Lead the development of go-to-market fleet segment plans and resulting account plans.
* Participate in trade shows and networking events to build Tritium brand reputation, identify appropriate industry contacts, and develop key customer relationships.
* Contribute to the development of marketing documentation and sales collateral to promote new business.
* Work in accordance with all Tritium policies and procedures under the direction of the Vice President, Head of Sales – ANZ to ensure that all sales activities are performed in an effective, professional, and timely manner.
* Liaise with all customers in a professional and courteous manner with a view to improving Tritium's reputation within the industry and increasing business opportunities.
* Deliver annual Sales Target and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Work as a collaborative team member by assisting other areas of the business when required or as directed by the Vice President, Head of Sales – ANZ.
About you
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales management, or entrepreneurial studies.
• 5-10 years of work experience in sales, business development, account management and/or strategic partnerships.
• Proven track record in solution selling to achieve sales targets and growing business revenue across a portfolio of strategic customer accounts.
• Ideal: experience with eMobility, electric vehicles and/or electric vehicle charging and fleet market.
