This role is more than just compliance – it’s about creating a workplace where staff feel supported, valued, and empowered to excel.You will lead by example, driving workforce planning, talent management, employee engagement, and occupational health and safety initiatives. With a focus on strategic planning and safety, you’ll foster a collaborative and high-performing environment that supports both staff and organisational growth.RequirementsA minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in HR, people and culture, safety or related fieldsDemonstrated success in building high-performing teams and fostering workplace engagementStrong strategic planning skills with a focus on continuous improvementExperience managing workplace health and safety in addition to HR expertise (preferred)Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels of the organisationQualifications in Human Resources Management (essential) and Workplace Health & Safety (desirable)Mandatory Requirements: Clear Police Check or Victorian Institute of Teaching License, Working with Children Check, Current Victorian Driver’s LicenseCommunity College Gippsland (CCG) is a child safe organisation with zero tolerance for child abuse and is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all students.
