We are seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Attendant to join our busy team.
You will be available to work across a rotating roster and be able to work at times unsupervised.
Responsibilities:
1. Perform cleaning duties within the kitchen, food preparation areas, and scullery.
2. Operate dishwashing machine as per instruction manual.
3. Handle general pantry duties and maintain cleanliness of pantry, fridges, and freezers.
4. Ensure all kitchens are kept clean and tidy according to current Health & Hygiene regulations.
5. Ensure each outlet is supplied with sanitized, clean, and dry operational equipment.
6. Ensure all operating equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware are hygienically and safely stored.
7. Follow correct handling of chemicals and equipment as per manufacturers' instructions.
8. Adhere to regular cleaning rosters and standard methods for deep cleaning of floors, walls, coolers, ovens, and operating equipment.
9. Contribute to cost control through energy conservation and careful use of water, cleaning materials, and other appliances.
10. Ensure garbage is collected and disposed of correctly from all kitchen areas each shift.
11. Utilize safe and hygienic methods for the removal of dry and wet waste.
