About the Role With rapid national growth, we are looking for a Senior / Lead Civil Engineer to join our expanding Melbourne team and play a pivotal role in client interactions. This role will work across our extensive client portfolio engaging with our national multi-disciplinary teams requiring both effective leadership and strong technical proficiency. Skills & Experience Ideally you will possess the following skills and experience: Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering Chartership or working towards chartership status Currently living in Australia and be a citizen or permanent resident Local Australian or ideally Victorian experience Diverse experience within property and infrastructure projects You are a strong communicator and respectful of your peers You have strong analytical and technical report writing skills Passion to mentor and train others. Apart from working with a great group of people, you will be accountable for: Input, manage and review civil engineering drawings and design Ensure engineering design practices and standards in the organisation are in accordance with Australian Standards, guides and codes as appropriate, meeting industry best practice Review engineering designs, plans, prepare project specifications, scopes of work, services review and project opinion of probable cost Prepare concept, feasibility and detailed design documentation and obtain relevant reviews and approvals Meet with project team on a regular basis to provide advice and input into project delivery Conduct site inspections with clients; contractors; council and regulatory authorities where required Benefits Great office culture, built on respect and comradery.
