About The Role: The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for effectively and efficiently monitoring and advising on construction costs issues at project and program level. This will include: Provides support to the Development teams and other functional areas of the division to ensure projects, sourced costing and the work undertaken by business partners, are cost effective, of high quality and represent value for money. Assist in the development and implementation of cost estimation processes and procedures, including providing input for improvement. Budget estimates and business cases, and deliver in a timely manner Conduct regular reviews and validation of Cost Planning and estimates, highlighting potential issues with key stakeholders and the Project Manager. Review tender costing associated with single source supply to identify anomalies in cost comparison as required. About the ideal candidate: You will have worked in a similar role, and ideally have the following: Residential or community housing experience High attention to detail Strong stakeholder management Please note: This is a construction role What’s in it for you?
