About the role
We are currently seeking positions for Rail Labourers for Rail Operations in the Hunter Valley. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
Key responsibilities
Rail-specific duties may include but are not limited to:
1. Removing and replacing worn and damaged rails, sleepers and switches.
2. Spotting machinery and mobile plant (such as excavators, rollers etc).
3. Using powered hand tools and equipment.
4. Site clean-up (clearing of debris and manual handling).
5. Demonstrate ability to perform duties maintaining high standards in both safety and quality.
About you
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Ability to work unsupervised and within a team.
8. Demonstrate experience working in the rail construction industry.
9. Hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) & Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
10. Valid Drivers Licence Class ‘C’ or ‘HR’.
11. Ability to pass a CAT3 medical, comprehensive functional and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
12. Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure required.
