As the Store Manager for our flagship retail store, you will oversee all store operations with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales revenue. You will lead a team of retail advisors and beauty therapists, ensuring the store offers tailored skincare consultations, product recommendations, and expert service. You will be the face of the brand, creating a personalized shopping experience, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction in line with our brand values.
Key Responsibilities :
* Drive sales and deliver KPIs by promoting products and services that meet customers' individual needs, with a clear focus on driving treatment bookings and post treatment sales.
* Continually monitor your team’s performance to ensure KPIs are consistently met, providing coaching and support to drive sales and exceed targets.
* Monitor store performance and report on metrics such as sales growth, customer satisfaction, and productivity on a weekly basis.
* Develop and maintain a robust customer database by capturing client information, utilising the database to drive marketing initiatives, repeat business, and customer loyalty.
* Build influential relationships with key partners and influencers within the local community to increase brand awareness locally and support a loyal client base.
* Collaborate with the UK Head Office team to plan and execute skincare-focused promotions, in-store events, and seasonal campaigns.
* Oversee the store's P&L to ensure financial targets are met, maximising profitability and cost efficiency.
Leadership & Team Management:
* Lead and inspire a team of retail advisors and beauty therapists ensuring high levels of motivation and performance.
* Recruit, train, and develop employees with a focus on customer service excellence.
* Provide ongoing coaching and development to the team, particularly on skincare ingredients, routines, and trends, ensuring they can provide expert advice to customers.
* Create a positive, team-oriented culture that emphasizes collaboration, professional growth, and a passion for sales in skincare.
Customer Experience:
* Ensure all team members consistently deliver the Grown Alchemist customer journey by providing a warm, personalised, and memorable experience to every guest.
* Educate customers about skincare ingredients, routines, and proper product use, creating a knowledgeable and trust-based relationship.
* Address customer feedback and resolve any concerns with professionalism and care, maintaining the store's reputation for outstanding service.
* Stay up to date with the latest skincare trends and innovations to offer cutting-edge advice and solutions to clients.
Operations & Administration:
* Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring that all staff are well-trained in store policies, skincare protocols, and customer service standards.
* Manage schedules and operational budgets while ensuring efficient store practices.
* Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee the replenishment process to ensure stock availability for high-demand products.
* Manage the systems for stock takes, end of day sales and month end procedures.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Minimum of 2+ years of experience in retail management, ideally in a skincare, cosmetics, or beauty fast moving, high volume environment.
* Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
* Proven sales ability with a strong focus on driving productivity and up-selling.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to educate and engage customers.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage both the operational and customer-facing aspects of the business.
* Experience with retail management systems, sales reporting tools, and basic office software, e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, PDQ.
* Must be able to handle various tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced retail environment.
