Enerpac Tool Group trades on the NYSE under the symbol “EPAC”.Our vision is to be our customer’s preferred partner through relentless innovation of industrial tools and services that help them safely and reliably tackle their toughest jobs around the world.Business Contribution:To provide support to the Regional President, Regional Leadership Team, Facility Managers and Functional Teams in the Asia Pacific (APAC) Region - pertaining to HSSE and ensuring the successful implementation of the Global HSSE Management System to support an advanced safety culture across the region.What you will do:Set Strategic and Specific HSSE Targets and Objectives to measure performance through the APAC HSSE KPI Dashboard and the HSSE Facility Specific HSSE KPI Scorecards up to Senior Management.Implement a robust HSSE and Continuous Improvement performance reporting cadence; as agreed with senior management.Manage, develop and mentor the regional HSSE Advisors, HSSE focal points and operational and functional teams.Facilitate effective communication to inform and to drive consultation and participation with employees.Develop and maintain the organization’s management systems.Ensure that all tasks and activities are risk assessed, documented, and communicated to the personnel who will conduct them.Maintain a Risk Register for each Facility and for the APAC Region.Ensure that Emergency Preparedness and Response Plans are in place for each Facility and Project, regularly reviewed and exercised to assure their effectiveness.Maintain and implement a robust Internal Audit Program in each of the areas of HSSE.Lead incident investigation teams facilitating the use of Root Cause Analysis tools and drafting and distributing comprehensive incident investigation reports.Take a leading role in annual APAC and facility level HSSE Management Reviews.Identify HSSE training needs by maintaining an APAC Training Requirements Matrix, ensure the conduct of HSSE training across the Region and monitor the level of HSSE training achieved.Maintain Legal and Other Requirements Registers in each APAC Country and implement a robust legal compliance assurance audit program.Implement an effective environmental sustainability management system.Develop and implement an effective waste management plan for each facility.Undertake regular facility and site visits and support senior management with their planned visits / inspections.Implement a Behavioral Based Safety methodology to drive a strong safety culture; including driving participation in the safety observation card scheme.Ensure the maintenance and implementation of a robust contractor management system.Ensure that NCRs are raised, investigated, and closed out in a timely manner for all customer complaints, supplier issues and other non-conformances identified across the APAC Region.Develop and implement an effective security management plan for all company accommodation, offices, workshops, and other facilities in the APAC Region.Act as designated management representative for ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001.Ensure all customer required online portals are maintained (Achilles, UVDB, ISN, JQS, etc.).What makes you an ideal candidate:Lead Incident Investigator – Kevin Topset or TAP Root.IRCA recognised Lead Auditor qualification - ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 or IMS.Proficient in the use of Microsoft tools.Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.Leadership qualities to lead, inspire and develop the APAC HSSE, Operational and Functional Teams.Education and Experience:NEBOSH Diploma, equivalent or better.Minimum 10 years’ experience in HSSE and Quality management.Enerpac Tool Group Values:SAFETY - Safety is our highest priority and is at the heart of everything we do.INTEGRITY - We will act with honesty and transparency and always do the right thing.OWNERSHIP - We will own our commitments, act with a sense of urgency, and deliver what is expected of us on time, or ask for help early enough.TEAMWORK - We will act as one Enerpac team, operate with an enterprise-wide mindset, and support each other to deliver for our stakeholders.AGILITY - We will act with purpose and speed, and we will adapt quickly to changing circumstances.What we offer:Our employee benefits including flexible workplace policies, employee resource groups, learning and development resources, career progression pathways, and community engagement initiatives are some of the reasons why we have had great success in bringing in new talent.
