The team at Triple Zero Victoria is deeply committed to the community it serves and is among the most dedicated and highly skilled in its field.About The RoleThe goal of the Health, Safety and Wellbeing function is to provide expert advice and support to the whole organisation on a range of health, safety, wellbeing, early intervention and workers compensation matters. The Injury Management & Workers Compensation Claims Advisor is a key and active participant of the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Team. It is a pivotal role at 000VIC, responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of workers compensation claims and injury management cases.This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in workers compensation, injury management, and claims administration. The successful candidate will demonstrate a profound understanding of workers compensation governance, legislative requirements, and a customer-focused approach to managing and resolving claims effectively.Day To Day Responsibilities IncludeManage and administer claims on behalf of our people, ensuring their best interests are maintained.Review incident and injury reports and initiate early contact with our people and their managers to support early intervention and recovery.Provide regular input into the payroll report to ensure Workcover pays and adjustments are accurate for injured employees, and contribute to related process improvements in collaboration with the Payroll and Workforce Management teams.Maintain and regularly update case files, injury management plans, invoices, and related documents.Provide expert advice on RTW approaches, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements.About YouWell-rounded and recent experience within a claims management role, providing professional and customer-focused end-to-end claims service.Sound understanding of the financial implications of claims management and WorkCover premiums and demonstrated experience in Workers Compensation pays.Team player with a can-do attitude that builds confidence and trust in the management of early intervention, injury management, return to work and WorkCover processes.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.Experience working within the public sector, within a large, complex, multi-site, 24/7 work environment, subject to enterprise agreements.What We Can Offer YouYou will be supporting a critical service to the Victorian community and will be rewarded with a competitive salary, flexible working arrangements and employee benefits including:Employee assistance program for employees and eligible family members.Discounted health insurance, banking services and gym membership.‘Memberlink’ discount card, accepted by 1,000's of retailers and services providers.Free staff parking at all our sites.Salary packaging options after an initial service period.Triple Zero Victoria is committed to the principles of equal opportunity, and diversity and inclusion for all.
