You will define and lead research priorities and strategies, ensuring they align with our goals of impactful science and research translation.In this role, you will also enhance the Institute's sustainability and visibility, maintain an active research program, and foster collaborations with internal teams and external partners to secure funding and support our strategic objectives. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive advancements in paediatric health research and significantly impact children's health outcomes worldwide, as well as to represent the Institute in a range of local, national and international forums.About You We are seeking a visionary leader with a proven track record in health research and senior leadership roles. The ideal candidate will possess a PhD or equivalent in a relevant field, complemented by at least 10 years of experience in health research. Your history should demonstrate success in securing funding, publishing in leading journals, and producing significant translational outputs. Strong leadership qualities and a strategic mindset are crucial, as you will be expected to inspire and foster collaboration among diverse research teams.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective engagement across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, you should have experience in strategy development and implementation within complex research environments.
