As the Manager of Early Childhood, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of skilled professionals to deliver evidence-informed, responsive, and inclusive services that align with the needs of children and families across the Barwon Region.About the RoleAs the Manager – Early Childhood, you will:Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality early childhood services in line with the NDIS Partner Agreement.Oversee strategic and operational planning, workforce management, and risk mitigation to ensure compliance with funding obligations and service excellence.Develop and maintain strong relationships with the NDIA and other stakeholders to drive program outcomes and maximise client impact.Identify service gaps and champion innovative solutions to meet emerging needs within the community.Manage program budgets efficiently and oversee key projects to achieve goals, timelines, and outcomes.Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and productive team environment while providing leadership and supervision to staff.Full time ongoing position1 FTE working 38 hours per weekTotal Remuneration PackageWhy Work with Us?At Meli, we offer more than just a job—we provide a platform to thrive, grow, and make an impact.

To succeed in this position, you will have:Relevant tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood, Social Work, Social Welfare, or a related field, with extensive experience in a leadership role.Knowledge of the NDIS Act 2013 and demonstrated expertise in delivering services aligned with NDIS policy and requirements.Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, provide supervision, and build effective, high-performing teams.Experience in program development, evidence-informed practice, and evaluation to ensure service excellence.Strong financial stewardship, including managing budgets and meeting service agreement requirements.Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to drive continuous improvement and deliver client-focused outcomes.Join Our CommitmentMeli is committed to providing a child-safe environment.
