About the Role
As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will be provisioning tailored lending solutions for experienced real estate developers operating in the greater Sydney metropolitan area. You will be part of a new portfolio that will require contribution to the design, execution, and monitoring of a business plan in pursuit of specific customer, people, risk, and financial outcomes.
What will your day look like?
As a Senior Relationship Manager, you will undertake the following:
* Leading the sourcing and management of transactions, developing lending structures, and conducting thorough due diligence.
* Managing approval processes, documentation, and fostering stakeholder relationships.
* Leading, coaching and providing development opportunities for junior team members to allow the achievement of current and future objectives.
* Building and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in implementing sales, service, operational, process, and credit quality initiatives.
* Representing Suncorp Bank in the building and construction industry, networking with key stakeholders to advance knowledge and expertise.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
* Extensive experience in commercial banking or a non-bank financial institution or real estate finance.
* Strong direct experience leading real estate finance transactions, particularly in residential and commercial development.
* Proficiency in risk assessment, financial modelling, and negotiation.
* Excellent communication skills, adept at conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
* Strong organisational skills, thriving in high-pressure environments with a customer-centric focus.
* Ability to drive business strategies, foster team growth, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
* Established networks to provide new to bank opportunities and support business growth.
* Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, or property economics (highly regarded).
