What we are looking for
Whittens have an opportunity for a proactive and motived Administrator to join our newly opened office in Cooma, to support our operations team on our local infrastructure project.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role is offered as part time, 3 days a week with flexibility in days to be worked including weekends. The role will be responsible for a wide range of administration tasks as Whittens establish our project operations.
Duties will include:
* Initial administrative support in setting up office by sourcing office requirements
* Organise transportation deliveries
* Coordinating of ad hoc travel and accommodation requirements for employees
* Processing and Entering Timesheets, Purchase Orders, Payroll Forms and enquiries
* Invoice Reconciliation, Approvals and Disputes
* Processing Deliveries and issuance of Delivery Dockets
* Record maintenance data
* Document Control, Correspondence and Reporting Requirements in a timely manner
* Liaising & Communicating with Client, Vendors, Work Crews, Project Management & Corporate Teams in a professional manner
* Identify community engagement and sponsorship initiatives
* Local event coordination and support with catering order requirements
* Ad hoc Administration tasks and duties
About You:
* Be local and have demonstrated experience in a similar Administration role
* Experience with administrative support for Civil Construction or Infrastructure projects - Advantageous
* Current Driver's License
* Computer literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
* Strong time management and organisational skills
* Display professionalism in all areas of the job and show initiative
