The Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists to join the Yarrow Place Rape and Sexual Assault Service as an After Hours Crisis Response / Triage Worker (Social Worker) working in a Casual capacity. The AHP2 After Hours Crisis Response / Triage Worker (Social Worker) is responsible for: Providing face to face crisis advocacy and crisis intervention to people of all genders who have experienced recent sexual assault. Working in partnership with on call forensic doctor/nurse. Providing some telephone crisis advocacy and crisis intervention to those who have experienced recent sexual assault. Contacting, consulting with and coordinating other members of the Yarrow Place Daytime and after-hours service. Providing referral information for people of all genders seeking to access counselling, support groups, legal assistance or other help or information in relation to recent sexual assault. Liaising closely with members of other agencies and statutory authorities in provision of a daytime and after-hours sexual assault service. Supporting new Crisis Response Workers on the after-hours panel.
