About the role
The Maternity Unit at GV Health has up to 1,000 births a year and services a growing regional area. We are currently looking for Registered Midwives to provide all aspects of quality care for women and neonates with range of full and part time roles available.
Our Maternity Services Unit consists of:
* Antenatal/Postnatal Inpatient Unit
* Birth Suite – Including facilities for water births!
* Special Care Nursery
* Antenatal service
* Domiciliary postnatal care and breastfeeding support
* In vitro fertilisation (IVF) services
* Midwifery Group Practice
* Early pregnancy services
* Antenatal education
Through these services, we provide collaborative woman-centred care, with Midwives able to rotate through all areas of our Maternity Services.

We are looking for
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
* Minimum of 1-year postgraduate midwifery experience
* Excellent clinical skills
* High level communication and organisational skills
