About the role
We are seeking an energetic SaaS Software Sales Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a person seeking flexible employment and an opportunity to develop their sales skills in an emerging area of business IT, whilst contributing to the scale-up of Innovative Content Management (ICM)
A 100% remote (work from home) position, this is a 0.6 FTE role (22.5hrs per week) for an initial 6-month contract. The Sales Specialist will drive sales opportunities in alignment with ICM’s areas of strategic focus. The core purpose of this role is sales lead generation, conversion into sales opportunities, nurturing opportunities into closed sales, and ongoing account management.
The successful candidate will be required to develop a high level of competency in M-Files usage and become proficient in online product demonstrations tailored to use cases across a variety of verticals.
We offer flexible working conditions, including the ability to work flexible hours from home. Flexibility may extend to spreading work hours across mutually agreed business days (excluding New South Wales public holidays), and variation of start and finish times on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate must be available to perform their work duties within New South Wales business hours.
Day-to-day tasks
Prospecting: Utilise channels such as email, phone, and social media to identify and engage potential customers within areas of ICM’s strategic focus
Lead qualification: Researching potential leads to understand their business needs, challenges, and decision-making processes. Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria to ensure alignment with ICM’s product offerings
Pipeline development: Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads and use ICM’s internal systems to track interactions, update lead information, and monitor progress of sales leads
Work with ICM Directors to nurture business opportunities that align with ICM’s areas of strategic focus
Manage sales opportunities throughout their lifecycle from inception, closure and client account management
Conduct initial discovery conversations with prospective clients to inform product demonstration requirements
Plan and prepare product demonstrations in liaison with ICM Directors
Provide feedback to ICM Directors on market needs
Meet KPIs relating to sales revenue and pipeline generation
Assist with ongoing account management relating to existing clients
Maintain accurate prospect information within ICM’s internal systems
Assist with client M-Files product training as and when required
Selection criteria (Essential)
A successful track record of generating sales leads, developing rapport with prospective clients and closing sales
Previous experience managing lengthy sales cycles and business relationships
Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members
Proven ability to work unsupervised and effectively manage time to meet objectives
Experience working remotely using online business collaboration tools
Highly self-motivated, enthusiastic, and team-oriented
Highly developed verbal, written, presentation, collaboration, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel (or equivalent)
Proficiency with contemporary prospecting tools such as business social media platforms
Basic working knowledge of business documentation and management processes
Own telephone and high-quality internet access
Own remote working space that meets WHS requirements and facilitates a distraction-free environment for effective online collaboration
Willingness to undertake training and professional development in M-Files use and M-Files-endorsed sales methodologies
Rights to legally work in Australia
Requirements (Desirable)
Knowledge and experience of SaaS, document management systems/enterprise information management systems
Previous experience in business management or business analytics
Previous software sales experience

Remuneration package
This role offers a competitive base salary with significant earning potential through performance-based OTE commissions, including uncapped opportunities for exceeding sales revenue targets:
$36,000 p.a. base salary
Quarterly OTE commission payments
Additional, uncapped and accelerated commission payments for exceeding quarterly sales revenue targets
Superannuation guarantee payable on all salary components
