Job Description
o Develop and implement strategic procurement plans for CAPEX/Construction categories.
o Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money.
o Utilise Oracle or Zycus systems for procurement and supply chain management.
o Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
o Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
o Monitor market trends and make recommendations accordingly.
o Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
o Provide regular reports on procurement activities and outcomes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Category Manager - CAPEX/Construction should have:
o Strong knowledge and understanding of procurement and supply chain management.
o Proficiency in Oracle or Zycus systems.
o Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
o Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
o Strategic mindset and problem-solving abilities.
