The Role
As a HSEQ Advisor, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s HSEQ management systems and policies. Your role will include a strong focus on the health and safety of all employees and third parties impacted by work activities within your area of responsibility, as well as;
* Conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards
* Fostering a culture of continuous learning regarding health, safety, and environmental practices, supporting audits and compliance with changing regulations
* Monitoring and reporting on HSEQ performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
* Keeping abreast of industry trends and legislative changes
The Criteria
* Over 3 years of experience in a similar Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)/Work Health and Safety (WHS)/Health and Safety Representative (HSR) role
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, with at least a Certificate IV in OHS
* A current First Aid Certificate and CPR certification are essential
* Strong communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
* Proficient administrative and computer skills, including expertise in MS Office
