The client is looking to fill a full-time position for qualified and skilled Mechanical Engineers to contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies and contribute to technical reports related to specific design issues. Reporting to the Director and working closely with the Sales, Production, and the Quality Team, this role focuses on the providing of technical designs and documentation for new orders, and in assisting with the development of existing products. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in the ongoing growth and success of the company and its clients, gaining essential business acumen experience. Main Responsibilities: Generate detailed product drawings tailored for unique, project-specific requirements, with a focus on optimizing manufacturing processes for efficiency. Provide comprehensive mechanical design support and develop layout drawings in alignment with contractual obligations and project specifications, ensuring continuity from project initiation to completion. Work closely with stakeholders to assist in the design and development of mechanical and process systems. Conduct detailed analyses and simulations to optimize designs and ensure compliance with design requirements and relevant standards. Liaise with other discipline engineers to ensure that designs are fully integrated and compliant with client and project specific requirements. Provide input and support to the development, alignment and execution of testing framework and plans. Apply precise methodologies to evaluate and determine project requirements and specifications. Lead delivery of high-quality outcomes across multiple projects as part of multi-disciplinary teams, being able to plan and execute on competing priorities. Engage and collaborate with clients and stakeholders, applying active listening and critical thinking to clarify project needs, risks, opportunities, expectations, providing guidance and insights for the client through the optioneering and solutioning stages. Prepare basis of design documentation, reports and compliance records. Present technical documentation, reports, and engineering design. Serve as a point of contact for all technical design related inquiries. Implement best practice design principles and standards, and identify and implement innovative design solutions. Assist with the preparation of proposals and tenders. Other Key Skills and Experience: Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering AND at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Advanced engineering computations knowledge, analytical skills, and critical thinking. Proficient in English with good communication skills and team management skills. Strong understanding of engineering standards and compliance requirements. Extensive experience in developing and reviewing engineering drawings, calculations, and documentation.
