About the company: Energy Makeovers is an Australian energy service provider, established in 2008 dedicated to assisting homeowners and businesses achieve a sustainable future. Our focus is to provide practical energy efficient solutions along with renewable energy to residential and commercial owners and tenants. Reporting to the CEO the NSW State Manager will play a vital role in driving our company's growth and expanding our market presence in NSW. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations within the state, including business development, sales team management, operations management, and general team leadership. Ability to manage sales and installation teams including electricians and plumbers is essential. Experience in the Energy Efficiency industry, particularly the NSW Government's Energy Saver Scheme (ESS), would be highly regarded but not essential. Responsibilities: • Implement the businesses strategic plan to achieve business objectives and drive growth in NSW • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholders in the energy efficiency sector. • Monitor industry trends, regulations, and policy changes to anticipate market shifts and adapt strategies accordingly • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, government agencies, and other industry influencers • Ensuring day to day business activities and flow of information are effective to drive business performance, efficiencies, and continuous improvement • Lead a team of sales and operational professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the successful execution of business objectives. • Engage and coach the team in relation to OH&S by deploying the businesses Safety Management System • Provide ongoing feedback, guidance, mentoring, advice and coaching to direct reports • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to ensure alignment and efficient project delivery • Full P&L responsibility for sales and operational performance • Monitor and review operational KPIs daily/weekly/monthly including sales and activity reports, Power BI dashboards or other performance data to measure sales and productivity to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement • Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators, project progress, and financial metrics to the CEO Experience and Requirements: • Proven experience in a managerial role within the energy efficiency industry or a related industry • Strong business acumen and a track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage projects, and deliver results • Implementing business processes, plans and procedures • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members • Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics How to Apply: If you are passionate about energy efficiency and have the drive to lead our dynamic team in NSW, we would love to hear from you.
