The role involves providing technical guidance, ensuring adherence to best practices, and collaborating with stakeholders to meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in Ab Initio, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of ETL and data warehousing concepts. Key Responsibilities Design high-level and detailed ETL solutions using the Ab Initio suite, including GDE, Plans, EME, m-hub, and DQE. Lead and mentor a team of Ab Initio developers, providing technical guidance and support. Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and components to optimize development efforts. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and create effective designs. Review and approve development deliverables, including ETL code, design documents, and test plans. Oversee the implementation of Ab Initio solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS/ GCP or in containerized environments. Ensure proper application of parallelism techniques and meta-programming for efficient processing. Establish and enforce coding standards, version control, and development best practices.
