At IEE, we are offering two Bachelor of Engineering Technology Degrees, specifically designed to cater to the growing demands of Advanced Manufacturing and Renewable Energy sectors.About the positionThe position supports the Student Services & Marketing Team in various administrative tasks related to student welfare, admissions, examinations, and events. Reporting to the CEO, this role provides assistance in implementing the strategies and tactics to achieve enrolment targets as per the Imperial Engineering Education Enrolment Plan. The Student Services Officer is responsible for managing all aspects of the Finance & Enrolment processes in accordance with ESOS National Code and other requirements.Key responsibilitiesThe Student Services Officer is responsible for:· Responding to enquiries, sourcing information, following up and providing responses in a timely manner.· Being the primary point of contact for students on issues including, but not limited to general course queries, class times, timetabling, payments, and visa requirements.· Assisting with student enrolment, intakes and orientations.· Assisting in marketing activities and special events if required.· Assisting with the administrative duties of programs across Imperial Engineering.· Assisting the Admissions team with applications.· Issuing student cards and official documentation.· Update student management and learning management systems as needed, collaborating with the administration team, maintain staff and student areas by ensuring kitchen is stocked up and areas remain tidy and presentable, other ad hoc duties as required.· Conduct meetings with at-risk students, reporting progress and concerns to the Student Services Manager.· Working closely with admissions and academic teams to ensure efficient and timely student management and stakeholder objectives.· Demonstrating awareness of diverse cultural and social backgrounds while having a sensitive and supportive approach.· Reception duties & General Housekeeping including maintenance of reception area (student services area) and boardroom.Required skills and qualifications· Relevant tertiary qualification(s) or have a combination of professional administration experience and education/training in a customer focused role· Excellent customer or student service skills and able to work both autonomously and as an effective team member in a high volume, process driven administrative environment· Demonstrated effective awareness of sensitivity to cross-cultural differences when liaise with people from diverse backgrounds· Excellent oral and written communication skills with high level of attention to detail.To be considered for this position, kindly submit your application to ceo@imperialee.edu.au.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per yearSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWork Authorisation: Australia (Required)Work Location: In personApplication Deadline: 30/11/2024
