Your opportunity: The Wide Bay Mental Health and Specialised Services (WBMHSS) Community Engagement Team Leader or Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is a new position funded under a Better Care Together enhancement and will provide leadership, operational management and clinical oversight of three crisis support spaces and Hospital and Health Service (HHS) wide specialist services inclusive of Early Psychosis, Co Responder, Multicultural workforce and Perinatal services. Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough). From 9th December 2019 all new employees will be required to be assessed for their risk of Tuberculosis (TB).
