Risk and Compliance Officer Are you an experienced professional with a passion for ensuring safety, compliance, and high standards? Mount St. Joseph Girls’ College in Altona is seeking a dedicated Risk and Compliance Officer to join their team and play a key role in maintaining a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment. About the Role: This flexible position is available as either part-time (4 days per week) or full-time, starting ASAP for the right candidate. You’ll work on-site with easy access to public transport and enjoy on-site parking options. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain compliance with VRQA registration standards and Victorian Child Safety legislation. Oversee Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) procedures, conduct audits, and lead emergency management training and drills. Maintain and update the College’s risk management systems (including Ideagen and Synergetic). Deliver compliance training and support to staff, fostering a safety-first culture. Actively contribute to committees and policy development processes. What We’re Looking For: At least 2 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a similar role (educational or school environment highly advantageous). Strong understanding of VRQA standards, OH&S regulations, and child safety legislation. Proficiency with systems like Ideagen and Synergetic is a bonus.
