About The Role
We're on the lookout for an experienced and friendly Medical Receptionist (2IC) to join our Myhealth general practice located at Helensvale Westfield. As the Medical Receptionist, you will be the friendly face that many of our patients encounter first, whilst also being the 2IC, acting as the right-hand person to our Practice Manager.
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be flexible with your hours, occasionally starting as early as 7:15am and finishing around 6:00pm on other days. Whether you're looking for full-time or part-time hours, we're more than happy to tailor the role to suit your needs!
Day In The Life
1. Assisting Practice Manager (or lead doctors) with operational excellence
2. Day-to-day reception duties
3. Overseeing appointments and bookings
4. Managing waitlist management, booking in new clients and rescheduling appointments
5. Assisting with patient and doctor queries
6. Utilising appropriate item numbers for appointments
What We're Looking For
1. At least 6 months experience working in a GP Clinic setting
2. Best Practice experience preferred
3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
4. Proficiency in Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
5. Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflow
6. A positive, can-do attitude and a drive to make a meaningful impact on our patients and practice
7. Flexibility with openings and closings
