Job DescriptionWe have an exciting new casual opportunity at our Subiaco location enhancing the customer experience.
Our Retail Assistants have a passion for food and customer service, demonstrating food retail experience and an understanding of operating systems.
Desired Skills and ExperienceKey Responsibilities:• Provide exceptional customer service at all times, ensuring customers have a memorable and meaningful experience in our store.• Help build the customer base through high levels of customer service and extensive product knowledge.• Ensure the store is clean and looking its best at all times, and that work areas, machinery, furniture, utensils, and equipment are cleaned and well maintained.• Work within our quality assurance standards.• Stock products on shelves and label correctly.• Operate POS registers and calculate change manually if required.• Weekend availability is required.
Skills and Experience:• Prior experience in food retail is preferred.• Experience in customer service-oriented roles.• POS experience is an advantage.• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).• Strong work ethic with weekend availability.• Organisational and time management capabilities with a focus on multitasking and reprioritising.• Excellent communication, both written and verbal.• Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.• Positive attitude, proactive and shows initiative, works well under pressure.• A can-do, team-focused attitude is essential for success.• Strong interpersonal skills – ability to liaise confidently with customers and team members – excellent customer service skills.• Attention to detail - accurate key entry skills.
