Our experience brings with it premium wharf cartage and container transport services, with a focus on providing customers with complete logistics solutions including warehousing, container pack/unpack, distribution, over-dimensional, heavy haulage, project logistics and Australia wide bulk haulage.The Commercial Manager is directly responsible for driving revenue and business growth by developing and implementing strategies to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and expand the organisation’s market presence.What you will be doing…
Providing strong leadership, guidance, and direction to the Commercial Team.
Identifying opportunities to expand business offerings, i.e., through partnerships, mergers and/ or new markets.
Thinking strategically and developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies that align with organisational goals.
Preparing commercial models to assess future profitability of identified opportunities.
Analysing business performance, including the profitability, revenue, pricing and cost of services sold.
Managing expenses, pricing and commercial arrangements.
Analysing sales and marketing and other reports to gain insights into how to improve performance and maximise growth.
Driving efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and are delivered on budget.
Developing accurate and consistent bids with the help of relevant departments.
Maintaining sustainable and productive relationships with existing clients.
Assessing risks involved with new initiatives, ensure deadlines are met and be ready to handle unexpected situations.
Reviewing and guide the implementation of relevant IT systems to ensure sales data, forecasts and reporting are accessible for all stakeholders.
Do you have…
Demonstrated experience in a Commercial Manager role, or similar role within the transport industry or related industry.
Strong commercial and business acumen.
Excellent communication, sales and presentation skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritise projects.
Superb negotiation capabilities.
Proven leadership and management skills.
