Community based not for profit Aged Care providerGreat leadership team and support provided for the successful candidateAbout Our ClientMy client is a highly regarded provider of Aged Care, Retirement Living and Home and Community Care currently operating aged care facility located in southeast Brisbane as well as a Home Support Services offering.Job DescriptionReporting to the Board, you will be accountable and responsible for the professional leadership and development of all staff at the facility and setting the highest possible standard of care for clients. Your responsibility extends to Residential Care, Retirement Living and Community Care. Ideally, you will have held a management position in Aged Care previously, and will understand all legislative requirements associated with the running of an Aged Care facility.Provide leadership by building and maintaining an effective management team with autonomy and accountability for delivering on their individual KPIs and areas of expertiseIn consultation with the Board, develop, implement and execute the company's business strategyRole model the Company's Mission, Vision, and ValuesProvide ongoing strategic advice on the company's performance and futureDevelop and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders, regulators and clientsDrive revenue; making opportunities and efficiency measuresDevelop, achieve and continue to improve the business' financial, legal, marketing and operational goalsDevelop an environment that recruits, retains, and supports quality staffIdentify and action opportunities for further growth and continual development and improvementThe Successful ApplicantTo be considered for this position, your experience and capability will align to the below:Tertiary qualifications in Business, nursing, or equivalent proven experience in management in the Aged Care sectorTrack record for achieving and maintaining compliance in accordance with current ACQSC requirementsAbility to effectively engender a culture of trust at all levels of the organisationDemonstrated ability to lead and develop a diverse team of health care professionalsDemonstrated interest and empathy for the care of culturally diverse clientsHigh level of commercial acumen including superior analytical abilitiesHighly developed business, strategic planning, policy development and financial management skillsExcellent communication skills, with an ability to relate to people of all demographics with compassion and professionalismSuccessful positive notice police checkWhat's on OfferThis is the ideal role for a proven Aged Care manager who would like the autonomy of working for a boutique service.
