Eagers Automotive is currently seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team at Grand Toyota Wangara.

About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller (FC), the successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day accounting requirements in a professional and efficient manner and be hands-on in regards to dealership management.
Duties will include:
1. Resolution of financial queries from management
2. Monthly forecasting
3. Preparation of the monthly financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards and Eagers Automotive (AHG) policy
4. Balance Sheet reconciliations
5. Management of fixed assets
6. BAS & FBT returns
7. Assist the FC with the day-to-day operations of the Administration Department, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, deal costing, payroll and, in their absence, ensure the efficient control of clerical staff within the Administration Department
Skills & Experience
If you are someone who has great attention to detail, is highly motivated, and has the ability to prioritise work accordingly - we want to hear from you!
You would ideally possess:
1. Completed / finalising an Accounting Degree
2. CPA/CA is highly regarded but not essential
3. Strong proficiency in Excel
4. Experience using Pentana ERA will be highly regarded but not essential
5. Enjoy working as part of a team
