Job Description
In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, supported by a strong team of healthcare professionals. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services and psychological treatment to clients with various conditions. Your duties will include:
Case management with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants
Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs
Collaborating with injured workers, employers, and health professionals
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders
Providing evidence-based psychological interventions
Completing assessments including initial assessments, treatment plans, and vocational assessments.
Qualifications
Our new team member will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
Full or provisional Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Registration with ASORC as a Rehab Counsellor
Clinical knowledge of pathologies
Strong communication skills
Excellent time management skills
A desire to problem solve and innovate
A passion for injury prevention and return to work
A current driver’s license and access to a vehicle
