The Opportunity
Our Australian Steel Markets business is looking for a Customer Supply Specialist to join our Customer Service team based in Acacia Ridge.
Your Role and Responsibilities
* You will be the key customer representative to a dedicated portfolio of highly valued key customer accounts.
* Working closely with the Customer Service Manager – QLD, you'll provide leadership support, coaching and mentoring to the broader team of account professionals.
* You will demonstrate expertise and professional customer service and supply chain experience, partnering with internal departments to implement and deliver cost-effective and efficient solutions for our customers within agreed market offers.

* You will lead with enthusiasm, supporting the team to succeed.
* You will use your strong analytical skill set to make data-based insights, further partnering with our customers in understanding their business needs and challenges, as well as maximising efficiencies for our internal team.
* You will deliver a superior customer experience for your account portfolio.
* You will work with internal stakeholders to provide solutions and deliver product in line with customer business needs.
* You will undertake analysis projects to identify, monitor and analyse customer trends and behaviours.
* You will coach and mentor the team in an informal leadership capacity to strengthen capability, acting as a point of escalation and at times acting as 2IC for the CS Manager.
* You will lead improvements with our systems and processes, implementing changes for internal teams and customers.
About You
You are an experienced customer service professional with sound exposure to managing client accounts, bringing:
* A strong commitment to providing and fostering an exceptional customer experience.
* Supply chain experience, managing the supply of product ideally in a B2B environment.
* Superior attention to detail with the ability to resolve issues and identify solutions.
* Intermediate to advanced skills of MS Office, including MS Excel.
* Systems savvy with the ability to work amongst disparate systems and bring information together to formulate solutions.
* The ability to work with ambiguity and constant change in a fast-paced environment.
* An effective influencer who can grow and build strategic partnerships both internally and externally.
* A commitment to working within a team, thriving in a collaborative, energetic and enthusiastic environment.
