In this role, you'll: Work within our Standards and Competence Team within the People Planning and Capability Branch of NSW Trains, focusing on the functional design of materials used for capability development training delivered to NSW Trains employees.As an Instructional Designer, collaborate with specialists in the business to create content and design training materials and manuals that meet and maintain standards and regulations for our staff.Provide subject expertise regarding capability development for leaders and staff in NSW Trains and facilitate training in specific areas for business groups and external organisations.For more information on this position and business unit, view the role description and information pack. Your demonstrated and strong experience in Instructional Design will have seen you deliver projects from conception through to implementation within a highly regulated environment.
You're recognised as having a minimum trainer and assessor skillset or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or the willingness to obtain this.
You will be comfortable in a role that will see you act as both the trainer and the functional designer of the materials, with the majority of your time spent in Instructional Design work.
This is an Award RC5 Temporary Fixed Term Full-Time role for up to 20 months, based in Sydney, with consideration for regional-based candidates, with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model.
The requirement for regional candidates will be to attend the Sydney office – minimum 5 days per month.
