About the Role As a Physiotherapist, you’ll work with a multidisciplinary team at Oakey Health Centre, delivering exceptional care to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel. Your Key Responsibilities: Provide evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and rehabilitation plans. Lead and guide exercise prescriptions, clinical rehabilitation programs, and hydrotherapy sessions. Conduct physiotherapy-related return-to-work rehabilitation services. Perform splinting, plastering, and fitting of orthoses or other prescribed devices. Offer expert advice, instructions, and recommendations to patients and health professionals. Manage a high volume of musculoskeletal patients, delivering tailored treatment plans for injury prevention and recovery. About Oakey Health Centre The Oakey Health Centre supports approximately 500 personnel at the Army Aviation Centre, home to the 126 Squadron of the Republic of Singapore Air Force and Australian Army Aviation training. The centre provides a range of medical and allied health services, including primary and aviation medical, nursing, dental, mental health, and pharmaceutical care. Standard operating hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM. Staff may occasionally work across Cabarlah and Oakey as needed. What You’ll Need to Succeed: Current, unrestricted registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA. Minimum of 2 years of full-time postgraduate musculoskeletal experience in the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent) in an accredited physiotherapy environment. Australian Citizenship to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance. Please note: You don’t need to be enlisted in the Defence Force to work as a civilian on-base.
