Our client a leading Manufacturer based in the Illawarra/Wollongong region is looking for a Cyber Security Project Manager to join their team on 12-month contract with the potential to extend.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the planning and implementation of assigned projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive project success and achieve desired outcomes.
In order to be successful in this position you will have experience in projects relating to:
1. Data Loss prevention
2. Data retention
3. Data control assessments
Responsibilities:
4. Lead the planning and implementation of assigned projects, defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
5. Develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project tasks, resource requirements, and timelines
6. Coordinate and assemble project teams, providing direction and support to ensure efficient execution
7. Manage project budget, resource allocation, and track project deliverables using appropriate tools
8. Constantly monitor and report project progress to stakeholders, presenting reports and solutions for any identified issues
9. Establish and maintain effective relationships with key suppliers, including managing purchase orders, statements of work, and progress verification
10. Collaborate with site-based project team leads to ensure effective communication, coordination, and planning of activities
11. Implement benefits management measures and mechanisms to monitor and maximise project benefits
Qualifications:
12. Experience in projects relating to Data Loss Prevention, Data Retention and Data control assessments
13. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
14. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
15. Proficient in project management software MS Project, SharePoint) and Microsoft Office Suite.
