This position will be a permanent, full-time role with some travel inside Victoria. This role will offer some flex but limited work from home opportunities.
Job Description
* Develop and implement HR and safety policies.
* Conduct workplace safety audits and identify areas of improvement.
* Provide advice on compliance with HR and safety legislation.
* Manage ER investigations and resolve any conflicts.
* Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of staff.
* Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
* Coordinate with management on workforce planning and strategy.
* Provide support to employees in various HR related topics.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'HR & Safety Advisor' should have:
* Relevant qualifications in Human Resources and/or Workplace Safety.
* Proficiency in HR systems and databases.
* Knowledge of HR and safety laws and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
