What does the job look like?
As the Safety, Training and Wellbeing Manager, you will partner with the senior leadership team to plan, develop and execute the SH&W strategic plan. You will drive the Linfox safety evolution by proactively coaching and mentoring others to increase knowledge, ownership and engagement in SH&W.
Key Accountabilities
1. Partner with the leadership team to plan, develop and execute the safety, health and wellbeing plan
2. Actively support and promote the Linfox safety evolution journey to strengthen our safety culture with a focus on care, trust and inclusion
3. Ensure that the business is taking a risk-based approach when it comes to the identification and control of every day and critical risks
4. Facilitate 4Ds and STKY sessions to help our team find better and safer ways to work
5. Provide direction and support for serious incident investigations with a focus on learning, improving and implementing risk controls
6. Embed health and wellbeing with a focus on general health, nutrition, fitness and fatigue
7. Create a mentally healthy workplace by educating and addressing psychosocial risks
8. Manage the safety system and auditing to ensure compliance with legislative and self insurance requirements
9. Report and present on performance, trends and outcomes
10. Coach and develop the capability of the Safety, Health and Wellbeing team

12. COACHING: Experience in coaching or training. The ability to talk, listen and influence across a broad range of stakeholders.
