THE ROLE
* Manage remediation projects from initial setup through to completion
* Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements
* Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
* Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
* Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
* Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
* Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
* Involvement with tendering/estimation
* Create and modify ITP’s and SWMS
* Raise RFI’s and track responses
ABOUT YOU
Along with extensive project management and delivery skills, including budgeting, coordinating work priorities, cost control, stakeholder management, subcontractor management, documentation, statutory approvals, you will have:
* Strong leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management
* A high level of understanding and appreciation for safety
* Strong commercial acumen
* Solid programming and planning skills
* Experience in a similar role within a Contractor environment is preferred
* Be adaptable and flexible to travel around the ACT Region
* Police Clearance
