The Position
The role in Hospitality at Moline House in Karrinyup is a permanent part-time position offering 34 hours per fortnight. The successful candidate will be based in the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness and organisation of the facility, which creates moments of comfort and joy for our residents.
Responsibilities
* Kitchen Hand: Prepare and plate food, serve and clear away meals in line with food preparation schedules.
* Maintain the food preparation and serving areas to state hygiene standards.
* Maintain appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values.
* Cleaner: Demonstrates competent time management techniques in cleaning routines.
* Vacuums, sweeps, dusts and mops all designated areas.
* Follows cleaning schedule.
* Maintains effective interpersonal relationships with others, utilising appropriate channels for assistance, guidance, and concerns.
* Laundry Manages the laundry routines in line with the laundry schedule.
* Maintains appropriate resident interactions in line with the organisational values.
Requirements
* Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies.
* Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity).
* Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference checks.
* NDIS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
* Proven organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as a member of a team, as required.
* Willingness to attend 1 day paid induction at our Rivervale Training Institute.
