An exciting opportunity exists for the Radiographer to deliver Medical Imaging services as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).

The Medical Imaging Service provides a comprehensive Medical Imaging, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Radiology service. This position will deliver competent base-level Medical Imaging Services, actively contributing to the multidisciplinary team through clinical service delivery and other activities as detailed below. This position will work across a variety of areas and rosters within the Medical Imaging Service - which is operational 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Demonstrate competent knowledge, expertise and skill in delivering Medical Imaging services commensurate with level of experience in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards, existing evidence-based practice and established clinical protocols.
2. Apply clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under the clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of a more senior clinician.
3. Participate in quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient/client care, including the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols within the work environment.
Remuneration value up to $128,284 p.a., comprising salary between $76,747 - $112,435 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $38.70 - $56.89 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Multiple Permanent full time and/or part time positions available).
